About the club
Who we are, who plays, and who runs the club.
We are a community club playing out of New Orleans, and we are new. Our first team enters the United Premier Soccer League this season, and we are going into it to win. The UPSL runs on promotion and relegation, so a club goes as far as its results take it. We are starting at the bottom and we intend to move. 1859 HFC is a City Soccer club. We use City Soccer as our primary place for player development, and the first team is the top of that pathway.
Where we play
The league runs on promotion and relegation, so results on the field decide how far a club climbs. Every season is a chance to move up.
Our mission
We exist to play good soccer and to represent this city while we do it. That means competing hard in every match, developing the players who come through our academy, and showing up for the neighborhoods we play in. We want a club the city recognizes as its own, built on the work and the character of the people here.
